Debra Spamer

Title

Vice President, Business Development, Company Nurse

Summary of Qualifications

Debra is vice president of business development, adding to the organization more than 25 years of management experience as well as expertise in the areas of sales development and management, marketing, contract negotiations and customer relations.
Spamer joined the company in the spring of 2014. 

Responsibilities

In her position at Company Nurse, Debra is responsible for revenue and business enhancement activities including strategic partner development, as well as expansion and  continuous improvement planning for major client relationships utilizing the brand’s nurse triage services.

Business Experience

Debra previously served in vice president roles for GreaterGood.com, Incentive Logic, LiveWorld and Family Education Network.

In addition, she was the executive director of brand marketing and corporate alliances for
International Cruise and Excursions. Earlier in her career – in another arena – she was the
manager of new media sales at the Chicago Sun-Times. 

Education

Debra received her B.S. in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

Tom Strasburger

Title

Vice President, Strategic Alliances, PublicSchoolWORKS

Summary of Qualifications

Tom's professional career spans 20+ years in sales, marketing and management. He has worked with and developed successful market-specific sales and marketing programs and strategies in multiple business segments, including public schools, local and federal government, and Fortune 500 companies. 

Responsibilities

Tom explores and develops new strategic partnerships with education channel partners in the K12 market. He focuses on areas including strategic alliance groups that support multiple school districts including service agencies, insurance pools, insurance companies and other similar groups along with cooperative sales/branding, partnerships, resellers and acquisitions.

Tom develops and executes the company’s strategic business development roadmap, creating new channels and growing revenue, while ensuring sound alignment with our long-term vision, mission and strategy.

Business Experience

Prior to joining PublicSchoolWORKS, Tom held local and national sales development positions in national office products companies in Dallas, Texas. In his role as vice president, Tom is in constant communication with clients to ensure that systems are functioning smoothly. He has a keen sense for district needs and works to ensure that every customer is using the PublicSchoolWORKS systems to their full potential.
